NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A pair of lawmakers is pushing for a blood or urine test to be administered to suspects after mass shootings for the presence of a “psychotropic drug” in Tennessee.
The bill, SB 2088, would require law enforcement officers who have probable cause to believe a person committed a mass shooting to get a blood or urine test in order to determine the presence of any drugs, “including therapeutic levels of psychotropic drugs.”
