ALEA K9 Toby to Receive Donated Protective Body Armor

Montgomery, Ala. (WDNews) — A K9 with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will soon receive new protective gear thanks to a charitable donation.

According to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, K9 Toby will receive a bullet- and stab-protective vest donated by the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The vest was sponsored by Manton Cliff Dwellings of Manitou Springs, Colorado.

The vest will include embroidery with the message: “This gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.” Delivery of the vest is expected within 10 weeks…
