ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the death of Deputy Naomi Dubreus, who passed away peacefully on March 14, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues.
The Sheriff’s Office said Dubreus is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, as well as a dependable and caring presence within the agency. Coworkers said she approached every day with professionalism and compassion — qualities that made her widely respected across the department.
