ECSO chase: Stolen car drives through yard, crashes in wooded area

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Two people are behind bars after allegedly leading deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office on a chase.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office investigating deadly weekend shooting

Deputies with the ECSO pursued a stolen vehicle on Thursday, March 12, resulting in the suspect driving through a residential backyard and hitting the family’s backyard play set before crashing into a wooded area.

The pursuit began on the intersection of Olive Road and North Palafox Street around 8 p.m.

“We had our deputies that were out on patrol, and we got alerted from one of our license plate readers that there was a white Nissan Versa that had been reported in Port St. Lucie, Florida,” Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons said…
