Redding’s March heat wave could shatter 112-year record

The 90-degree weather hitting Redding and the rest of the Sacramento Valley could shatter century-old heat records for March.

Expect temperatures to soar daily through Friday, March 20; rising roughly 30 degrees hotter than historic averages for the month, according to the National Weather Service.
