The former Baker’s Choice, located at 292 Ridge Road, Suite 15, is now operating as A Baker’s Paradise under the ownership of 21-year-old Lexi Landry, a longtime employee of the late owner.
The shop, originally built and operated by the late Mrs. Barbara, became a staple in the local baking community, known for its wide assortment of baking tools, pans, decorating supplies, and specialty items for home bakers and professionals alike. After Mrs. Barbara’s passing, the future of the store became uncertain.
Rather than see the store close its doors, Landry stepped forward to continue what her former mentor started.
“I had the privilege of working alongside Mrs. Barbara for six years,” Landry shared in a recent announcement. “She was not only my employer, but my mentor and someone I deeply respected. I could not imagine seeing her baking store close its doors.”…
