JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Owners appear to be making progress cleaning up a dilapidated Jackson apartment complex, days after a city judge ordered them to take action.
Last week, Jackson Environmental Court Judge Kevin Bass ordered owners to clean up and secure the Chapel Ridge Apartments on Raymond Road, giving them until March 17 to clean up trash, and install new gates and fencing to keep vagrants out.
By Monday, crews had cleaned up most of the garbage around one of the major trash bins there, and had partially shut the door going to another one.
However, no fencing or gates had been installed, as required per the judge’s order…
