SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A man was given a sentence of up to life in prison after he was convicted of beating a woman, telling her she “was going to die,” and locking her in a basement storage room.
Samuel Shroy Martindale was convicted for 15 years to life for the charge of aggravated kidnapping and up to five years for two charges of aggravated assault.
