Honolulu parks return to normal hours, some closed for weather

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The City and County of Honolulu Parks and Recreation facilities will be open under their regular schedule, with some remaining closed on Monday.

  • Kāneʻohe District Park’s gymnasium complex, including the pool and recreation rooms
    • Utilized for emergency shelter operations
    • Outdoor facilities are available to the public
  • Kualoa Regional Park is closed due to flooding along the main entry roadway and parking lots
  • Koko Crater Botanical Garden is closed due to downed trees blocking the garden’s main pathway
  • Permitted camping remains suspended through Thursday, March 19
    • Refunds will be issued
    • Camping is expected to resume on Friday, March 20
