Organized by the Irish American Heritage Society, the 2026 route begins at the James Brown Arena Parking Lot and follows an approximately 1.73-mile course. Here are the following directions:

  • The Parade will exit the James Brown Arena Parking Lot heading north on 7th Street

  • Turn left onto Reynolds Street (westbound)
  • Turn left onto 11th Street (southbound)
  • Turn left onto Greene Street (eastbound)
  • Turn right onto 7th Street (southbound)

“Some people ask why on the 17th,” said Jason Scherer of the Irish American Heritage Society. “It’s St. Patrick’s Day, that’s the day we celebrate. So we’re excited to have a lot of people bring businesses from downtown Augusta that might not be there on a normal Tuesday afternoon. So we’re excited to have everybody. Everybody’s welcome.”
