A main Palm Beach thoroughfare and bridge were closed for more than an hour March 15 as the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigated a scene where a man shot himself while in a car, officials said.
Royal Palm Way and the Royal Park Bridge were shut down between about 8 and 10 p.m. while investigators worked in the area, Palm Beach officials said in alerts. Few details were available about the incident, or the man’s condition, as of noon March 16.
A PBSO spokesperson confirmed that the person suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials did not provide an exact location of the car when the shooting occurred…
