A Pennsylvania man will spend several years behind bars for a crash that killed a friend and injured another motorist, but only after he receives his university degree.
Judge Laurie J. Pittman sentenced Jakob Quentin White, 21, to three years in prison during his sentencing hearing March 16 in Portage County Common Pleas Court.
Pittman, however, acknowledged that during the course of his case, White’s behavior had been good and he had followed all requirements set by the court.
