An Illegible License Plate Replacement event will take place on April 7 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.mn. at A.F. Dobler Hose and Ladder Company in Girard.
The event will be hosted by Representative Jake Banta to allow drivers to get their illegible license plates removed for free. If license plates cannot be fully read from at least 50 feet, they are considered illegible which if pulled over can result in a fine.
Pennsylvania license plates have been reported to be more likely to peel due to changes in materials and manufacturing. Motorists with plates that are peeling can attend this event to have it simply changed out for free…
