Kernersville Fire Rescue Chief Scott Alderman says his department follows a five-year strategic plan, which expanded across the town.
“One of those [fire stations] was a co-location with the Beeson Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department. That is a fire department on the southside of town that we got of rapid growth,” Alderman said.
