LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 32-year-old man from Dewitt was recently arrested for causing a disruption on an Amtrak train, the Michigan State Police announced Monday.
State police say troopers were dispatched to a stopped train on the tracks near Sand Road in Bellevue Township at around 10:40 p.m. Sunday, March 8, after a 911 caller reported a combative passenger who had assaulted two employees.
Before troopers arrived, MSP says the man appeared to be intoxicated and was upset that the train being delayed and began “running upon and down the train,” which caused other passengers to fear for their safety…
