JCPS superintendent explains occasional driver, denies having a dedicated chauffeur

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Questions are circulating online about whether Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Brian Yearwood uses a personal driver paid for by the district.

Yearwood said he doesn’t have a dedicated driver but is occasionally driven to meetings.

“Occasionally, if I’m going to a meeting where there are parking issues or something like that, then yes, someone will take me there,” he said. “But as far as a driver bringing me to work and from work, no, there’s nothing like that.”…
