Prichard works with MCSO to improve administrative processes

PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – A Prichard police officer was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property following the shooting death of his roommate and a search of his home, the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office said.

Officer Ryan Phillips was placed on administrative leave in February after a shooting at a home on Wesley Avenue in Mobile left his roommate, Sanjuanita Coronado, dead. Coronado was shot during an argument. Phillips was questioned that day and the home was searched, but he was not arrested until March 12.
