Rabid raccoons confirmed in Martin County, health officials warn

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The Florida Department of Health in Martin County is alerting residents and visitors about the presence of rabies among local wildlife.

According to the report, this follows two confirmed cases of rabies found in raccoons in Hobe Sound and Stuart between March 3 and March 9.
