A late-Sunday fire tore through an abandoned three-story building at 1066 Clay Avenue in Concourse Village, sending flames up the facade and smoke across the block as firefighters rushed in to contain the blaze.
According to News 12 The Bronx, the FDNY said the fire broke out just before 9:30 p.m., with flames reported on the first floor of the building. Crews moved quickly to knock the fire down, and FDNY investigators remained at the scene Sunday night to work on determining what sparked it.
