CANTON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board (MCSAB) voted on Monday to initiate revocation proceedings for a Canton school.
According to the MCSAB, this action begins a formal review process for SR1College Preparatory and STEM Academy (CPSA).
Is Mississippi among the worst for student loan debt?
Officials said the revocation proceedings allow the school an opportunity to respond and participate in the process before any final decision is made.
MCSAB authorizes the issuance of a notice and will set a hearing date, time, location and request or appoint a hearing officer. MCSAB also authorized staff to complete the required notices, publications and other related purposes of the proceedings.
