MADISON, Wis. — Approximately 20 people were arrested in connection with a break-in at the facility of embattled beagle breeder Ridglan Farms Sunday morning, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies from the sheriff’s office, along with officers from Mount Horeb, Verona, Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison police departments, were dispatched to the facility at around 8:30 a.m.
Between 50 and 60 protesters allegedly entered the property without permission, some of whom began removing numerous dogs. Some of the dogs remain unaccounted for…
