WICHITA, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was seriously injured while attempting to make a U-turn early Tuesday on a Sedgwick County highway, officials said.
The crash was reported at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday on K-96 highway at 151st Street. The location was about eight miles northwest of Wichita.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was headed south on 151st Street when it attempted to perform a U-turn across the eastbound lanes of K-96 highway.
