WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – After a brief return of winter, it will soon feel like summer in Kansas as high temperatures soar into the 80s, and it may happen as early as Wednesday. Average highs in mid-March are typically upper 50s, so it will be much warmer than it should be at this time of the year.
Clouds will increase overnight, but dry weather will continue. After a very chilly start, western Kansas will return to mid 70s, but farther east it will be cooler with highs near 60. Some thicker clouds will linger over the eastern third of the state.
Light winds and sunshine are on the way for Wednesday and Thursday as highs continue to warm into the 80s…
