BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) — CBS 42 heard from the family of a father and young son who died after being hit by a car. The crash happened in Bessemer on Sunday night.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the father and son were in the roadway on Eastern Valley Road when they were hit be a car shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday. It was dark at that time. Both died at the scene.
