Kingsburg reports clean audit, low staff turnover

KINGSBURG – Before diving into the extensive process of developing the city budget for the next fiscal year, Kingsburg city staff checked off obligations tied to fiscal year 2024-25.

At its meeting on March 4, the Kingsburg City Council heard a presentation from the city’s auditing firm Price Paige & Company and accepted the results of the audited financial statement for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2025. Though there were a few deficiencies in the city’s internal controls identified in the audit, the city received an unmodified or “clean” opinion overall.
