GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Nine new traffic circles will be installed in Grand Rapids this summer in an effort to slow traffic in neighborhoods where residents have complained about speeding drivers.
Five of the new traffic circles will be installed in the city’s 2nd Ward, and four will be in the 3rd Ward.
Construction for each traffic circle will take one week to complete, requiring the closure of the intersection during installation, said acting city engineer Cindy Irving. Construction is expected to begin in June and run through August…
