Kalamazoo County pays $129K to help people look back at local history

KALAMAZOO, MI — Kalamazoo County is making its records more accessible, going back several decades.

The Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners approved an expenditure of $129,433.66, plus $1,500 annually, for a contractor to scan meeting records and create searchable digital files. The work was approved a the Tuesday, March 3, board of commissioners meeting.
