LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Snow and ice have caused traffic backups throughout Lexington since early Tuesday morning, with some drivers reporting delays of more than an hour on routes that normally take minutes.
Dan Harrington’s normal commute from near New Circle Road typically takes about 15 minutes. On Tuesday, he said he had been on the road for roughly an hour and a half to two hours and still had not reached his destination.
