Church-going mom of 2 crushed to death at St. Patrick’s Day parade in ‘freak accident’ after being pulled under float

THE WOMAN who died on Sunday after she was caught under a St. Patrick’s Day parade float has been identified.

Joan Pannuti Pottinger, 50, was walking alongside a float during the Louisville, Kentucky St. Patrick’s Day parade when her foot was caught on the vehicle.

Pottinger, a mother of two, was crushed to death after she was pulled underneath the float.

In the aftermath of the incident, volunteers and parade-goers rushed to help while some others hadn’t realized someone had been injured, according to the New York Post…
