Woman arrested for deadly hit-and-run in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville woman is facing serious charges after admitting to hitting a man with her truck on Monday night and then driving away.

The Metro Nashville Police Department reported that officers were called to Ewing Drive just after 6 p.m. on Monday for reports of a pedestrian getting hit by a vehicle.

The report states that 68-year-old Clifford Coleman was trying to cross Ewing Drive near Brick Church Pike when he was hit by a pickup truck in the left westbound lane. Coleman was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center alive, but he died overnight, according to MNPD…
