WATCH: Born hours after her mom’s sinking-car rescue, baby goes home after 37 NICU days

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The baby born just hours after her mother was rescued from a sinking car in a Stuart retention pond is finally heading home after more than a month in the hospital.

Shedly Apollon’s family shared a new video with CBS12 News on Monday, showing baby Ivory being discharged after spending 37 days in the NICU.
