OKATIE, SOUTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort women’s golf team began the two-day Oldfield Intercollegiate on Monday morning. Play was suspended due to weather after only part of the first round was completed. Through 9–10 holes, the Sand Sharks sit in sixth place overall.
McLain Neal led the Sand Sharks on day one, staying even through the first nine holes with two birdies and five pars. She is currently tied for sixth place.
