LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – Investigators are working to determine the cause of a residential structure fire on Grist Creek Wynd that killed two children and left two others hospitalized with severe burns on March 12.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, the origin and cause of the fire and any other circumstances remain under active investigation. Investigators say they have found no evidence to indicate foul play or malicious intent at this time.
