WILMINGTON, Del. — New research from ChristianaCare is highlighting advances in how physicians diagnose and treat lung disease, with studies showing improved patient outcomes, lower costs and faster recovery times.

Three recently published studies by the health system’s interventional pulmonology team explore new approaches to managing cancer-related lung complications, improving biopsy accuracy and reducing the need for routine imaging after certain procedures.
