Texas Is Home to an Irish Pub Originally From Ireland

B.D. Riley’s is the oldest Irish pub in Austin, Texas, first established downtown in 2000 before moving to the Mueller neighborhood in 2017. It’s also the city’s most authentic pub. Not only does this popular watering hole serve up Dublin-brewed Guinness beer, but the pub itself was actually built in Ireland. The entire building (inside and out!) was constructed on the Emerald Isle, disassembled, shipped overseas, and rebuilt as an authentic Irish pub in Texas.

Experience a true taste of Ireland when you visit B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub at Mueller. Located in the heart of downtown Austin on Aldrich Street in the Mueller neighborhood, this award-winning watering hole offers strong Guinness, hearty pub grub, and a fun, lively atmosphere.

B.D. Riley’s isn’t your average, everyday Irish pub. It’s as authentic as they come because the building (both interior and exterior) was built in Ireland by Irish craftsmen, dismantled, shipped across the sea to the U.S., and reconstructed in Austin by craftsmen from both Ireland and Texas in 2017. Everything from the furniture to the flooring to even the pictures hanging on the walls was constructed on the Emerald Isle.

When you come here for a drink, it’s truly like being transported across the pond, giving visitors an true Irish pub experience.

With musical entertainment, trivia nights, and a packed house most of the time, B.D. Riley’s has an upbeat vibe that is nothing short of infectious…
