An evening golf cart ride in Aubrey’s fast-growing Silverado area ended in tragedy last Saturday, when a single-vehicle crash on a sidewalk at Frontier Parkway and McNatt Road left the driver fatally injured, according to police.
Aubrey police say the golf cart was the only vehicle involved and the driver was the sole occupant. The cart crashed along the sidewalk, and the driver was ejected. Officers and Aubrey Fire Department medics tried life-saving measures at the scene before the man was transported to Medical Center Denton, where he was pronounced dead before arrival, police said.
