Traffic signal out in Jackson: poses danger, irritating motorists

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A drive across the Capital City could bring motorists to intersections without working signal lights. The city’s aging infrastructure includes traffic lights. It’s a danger the city is aware of and is working to find funding for repairs.

At the intersection of Cooper Road and Meadow Lane Drive, the traffic lights have been removed and replaced with stop signs. One resident said it is the third time this has happened in recent years and that it is one of several others on the street.
