A commissioner runoff race in the Democratic Party primary is entangled in a litigation over the eligibility of the front runner in that race.
Nicole Roberts, who finished third in the March 3 primary has filed a lawsuit against the Fort Bend County Democratic Party and its chair Dr. Jennifer Cantu seeking to disqualify Brittanye Morris, who was the front runner in the primary. April Jones finished second.
