VIOLET, La. — A 16-year-old teen died after getting involved in an altercation with another teen in a van, being dragged and then run over Monday night in Violet, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of Meraux Lane.
Deputies responded to a call of a person lying in the road at the location, where they found the young man on the ground and in distress. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died…
