CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Cold temperatures did not keep people from heading into downtown Cedar Rapids for the SaPaDaPaSo Parade on Tuesday.
The event marked the 51st annual parade, giving people a chance to show their Irish spirit. SaPaDaPaSo has sponsored the St. Patrick’s Day parade every year since 1978.
“Honestly, it’s amazing. The community really shows up and it’s just a fun time,” Parade Marshal, Holly Meyer said. “My favorite part is seeing everybody with their Irish spirit just coming together.”…
