(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A police officer who resigned form the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) in 2025 has been decertified from Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), according to public records.
Officer Thomas Polistina was placed on administrative leave in July 2025 after CSPD was made aware of allegations against him. Following a criminal investigation, an internal investigation was launched, during which CSPD said Polistina “knowingly made an untruthful statement.”
