The Weld County Workforce Center Youth and Adult Job Fair in Greeley was successful, attracting around 1,000 young people on March 11.
“Young people bring creativity, adaptability, and fresh perspective to every workplace,” said Shelby Hatfield, Weld County Youth Employment and Training Navigator. “Having nearly a thousand youth come out shows just how motivated they are to learn, grow, and take charge of their career paths. Their enthusiasm reminds us why we invest so deeply in creating opportunities that help them take those important first steps.”
Employers from various industries attend the annual fair to provide a range of opportunities for young people in Weld County. It allows youth to connect directly with employers, so job seekers can learn about different industries and apply for positions towards future careers.
