Pet trapper claims poster restrictions slowed search for dog lost 7 weeks in Sugar House

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A French Bulldog that survived seven weeks on its own across Salt Lake County is now back home — and slowly returning to normal life.

ARC Salt Lake spoke with Creed’s owner, Marcus Smith, and the trapper who helped bring the dog home about the search effort and what helped lead to his capture.

Creed disappeared from the Sugar House area on Jan. 11 and was spotted multiple times over the following weeks across a six-mile radius, including sightings in Millcreek and Holladay.
