Congress Street in downtown Tucson closed for emergency repairs

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A major portion of Congress Street in downtown Tucson was closed for emergency repairs on Tuesday, March 17.

The city said Congress, from Granada to Church, will be closed until 4 p.m.

An emergency closure of Congress, from Granada Ave to Church Ave, will take place today until around 4 p.m., as crews remove a damaged Overhead Catenary System (OCS) pole from the streetcar route. A bus bridge is in place while the Sun Link Streetcar is out of service. pic.twitter.com/VW5O9kWzQM
