PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) – Crews in Gibson County spent the day Monday working on a home that was struck by a fallen tree.
Officials with Whitledge Tree Service tell 14 News that heavy winds prior to Sunday night’s storm blew a tree into a home in Princeton, knocking out power to it and two other homes.
They say the tree clipped the corner of the roof. Crews cleared it as quickly as they could so that a tarp could be put on the roof before the heavy rain came down Sunday night.
Those with the tree service say that storm season is a busy time, and they respond to roughly 75 fallen tree calls for homes every year. They say those calls are all prioritized to keep people safe…
