Decatur woman arrested for chemically endangering daughter

DECATUR, Ala. — A Decatur woman has been arrested and charged for chemical endangerment of a child.

According to the Decatur Police Department, detectives with the Family Service Unit were assigned to a case regarding the alleged chemical endangerment of a girl on Jan. 22. The report, stemming from a joint investigation conducted by Morgan County Department of Human Resources and DPD, stated that a girl was being chemically endangered by her mother.
