EL PASO, Texas – A man has been arrested following a domestic disturbance in El Paso that escalated into an aggravated assault involving a knife.
On Friday, March 13, 2026, around 3:30 p.m., officers with the El Paso Police Department responded to the 9500 block of Martinique Drive after receiving a report of an aggravated assault in progress.
Officers met with a 66-year-old male victim who said his step-son confronted him inside the home and threatened him with a kitchen knife. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Rodolfo Marcelino Rodriguez, also sprayed the victim in the face with an air freshener during the incident…
