Man admits firing gun in shootout that killed rideshare driver, police say

FERGUSON, Mo. — A person has been charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 30 killing of a rideshare driver who was caught in the crossfire of a shootout.

Noah Johnson, 18, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the killing of 27-year-old Shannon O’Brien. Johnson was also charged with aiding and abetting a shooting from a motor vehicle causing death and two counts of armed criminal action.

Three other teenagers were previously arrested in the case, with two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old each facing charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon…
