Kan. man faces a judge for ‘unauthorized contact’ with student at school

SEDGWICK COUNTY— A suspect accused of sneaking into a school and making unauthorized with a 13-year-old girl made his first court appearance in the case on Monday.

Michael D. Arnold, 36, was charged with stalking, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office. He remains jailed on a $50,000 bond, according to online jail records.

Police have arrested Arnold after investigating two incidents at Gordon Parks Academy, 2201 E 25th Street N. Wichita, in which he entered the school and made unauthorized contact with a 13-year-old girl, according to a media release from Wichita Police…
