Firefighters from Poudre Fire Authority responded to smoke coming from a commercial electrical panel in Old Town Square this morning. The panel, located in Trimble Court between The Old Town Pump and Wagz Pet Market and Grooming, was emitting dark smoke just before 10 a.m.
No active flames were found when crews arrived. Firefighters ensured the area was safe by checking air quality and inspecting the attached building. Several nearby businesses temporarily lost power while City of Fort Collins Utilities isolated the issue. Power was restored, and normal business hours were not affected.
